Meet the team

      Leanne is from Athboy and lives now in Kells. She qualified from UCD in 2005. After graduating, she worked in a busy mixed animal practice in Co. Down until joining Pat Farrelly & Partners in 2009. Leanne enjoys all aspects of small and large animal care. In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dogs, Murphy & Hooch (both rescue dogs). 
       
  treasa     Treasa arrived to Paws A While in December 2017. She graduated from UCD and went straight into small animal practice. Before joining our team she practiced small animal medicine in Limerick. Treasa also holds an MSc in Applied Animal Welfare and Behaviour. While originally hailing from Leitrim, she is enjoying Meath life. In her spare time, Treasa likes to see and travel to new places and enjoys dodgeball. 
       
  Dee    Dee  is the newest vet to our team. Having graduated in 2012, Dee has spent the last 5 years working in a busy veterinary hospital in England. Dee is a local girl and is looking forward to getting back into the swing of Meath life. Dee' s veterinary interests include wildlife and she has completed a GP certificate in exotic animal medicine and surgery. In her spare time Dee enjoys horse riding and chasing about after her crazy dogs, Luca and Tessa. She looks forward to meeting you all!
       
   Emma   Emma is from Freffans and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2008 from Athlone Institute of Technology. She joined the practice as a student in 2004. After working in a busy small animal hospital in Dublin, she returned to Paws a While in Trim in 2010. Emma has a keen interest in the general health and welfare of small animals and provides Nurse Clinics on various topics. She has a Collie/Springer Cross called Peggy who is an Irish Therapy Dog and enjoys visiting her friends in the Nursing Home every week.
       
   dearbhla    Dearbhla hails from Co. Cavan. She joined the team at Paws A While as a student in 2016 and has since qualified as a Veterinary Nurse from Letterkenny IT in 2017. Dearbhla enjoys all aspects of animal care both small and large. In her free time she enjoys helping out on the family farm, looking after her Border Collie Lynn and has a keen interest in the outdoors and photography. 
       
  lisa    Lisa is from Athboy and graduated as a Veterinary Nurse from Athlone Institute of Technology in 2013. She has worked in mixed practice since leaving college and joined the Paws A While team in 2015. She has always had a huge interest in veterinary work and loves taking care of animals and interacting with their owners and other members of the public. She is a friendly, chatty person. In her free time Lisa enjoys the outdoors, walking, cycling and camping and bringing her dog Polly for walks in the woods or park keeps her busy after work.
